Welcome to Flowers of May Cottage
Self catering holiday accommodation, St Andrews, Fife, Scotland
The area around St Andrews is one of Scotland’s most popular holiday destinations with so much to offer visitors from the historic town of St Andrews with its world famous golf courses to the beautiful fishing villages and sandy unspoilt beaches of the East Neuk.
Flowers of May Cottage is a newly converted stone self-catering cottage just 3 minutes’ drive from the centre of St Andrews, yet being in the beautiful countryside surrounding St Andrews makes it a peaceful, tranquil retreat.
Set back ¼ mile from the main road the cottage sits next to our home, Flowers of May House, a traditional Scots tower house.
Surrounding the house and Cottage are fields with open views across the countryside and out to sea.
Flowers of May is truly a special place, where your neighbours include deer, stoats, buzzards, owls and pheasants. You really feel the seasons here from the wheat waving gently in the fields in summer to the busy harvest time and the still icy beauty of winter.
The Fairmont Hotel and Golf Resort with all its amenities are within walking distance from the cottage and with the beautiful East Neuk five minutes’ drive to the East and historic St Andrews three minutes to the West you really couldn’t have a better location to explore what Fife has to offer.
